Médecin et ethnologue, Jean-Claude Andrault a accumulé au cours de ses voyages dans le monde entier des objets façonnés par le vent, les rivières, la mer. Ces « œuvres » sans titre et sans auteur révèlent le rapport sensible que nous entretenons avec les formes, les matières et l’imaginaire lié aux substances naturelles.
Over the course of his many travels throughout the world, Jean-Claude Andrault, doctor and ethnologist, has accumulated objects that have been fashioned by the wind, rivers and seas. These untitled and authorless “works of art” reveal the sensitive relationship that humans entertain with shapes and materials linked to natural elements, and the role of the imagination.
