Une jeune touriste étrangère, regardant des photos du plateau Beaubourg avant sa destruction, plonge dans le passé vivant et populaire de ce quartier. Grâce aux photos de cafés et d’immeubles, à un commentaire poétique et à l’utilisation d’effets spéciaux vidéo, ce retour en arrière mental, sonore et visuel est une réflexion complexe et onirique sur l’évolution d’un lieu et le temps qui passe.
A young tourist from another country looks at the photos of the Beaubourg area before its destruction and plunges into the lively, working class past of this district. Thanks to photos of cafés and apartment buildings, to a poetical commentary and to the use of special video effects, this flashback is a thought-provoking and dreamlike approach to the development of a physical place, as well as to time passing.
